Self Limiting Beliefs – How Your Self Beliefs Keep You From Getting Where You Need To Go

When you are aware of self-limiting beliefs, it is time to eliminate them. You cannot allow yourself to continue focusing on your fears and insecurities. Instead, concentrate on your goals and how you will achieve them. Also change the way you talk to yourself, about yourself, your capabilities, potential and abilities. You have to set the mind’s focus away from negative thoughts and into positive thoughts. Below are some tips on how to do just that:

First, identify the common limiting beliefs you have regarding yourself and write them down. You may also want to include the reasons why these negative thoughts are keeping you from your goals or even from accomplishing them. You can either do a daily journal or do it in your journaling. This step one in eliminating self-limiting beliefs is important because it gives you an opportunity to re-evaluate your thoughts and see if there is anything that needs to be changed.

Second, now that you know what your self-limiting beliefs are, write down new beliefs that oppose them. For example, if you believe you are too lazy to become an engineer, write down that in your Iq Matrix. Next, associate new beliefs with your new beliefs. For example, if you associate the idea of becoming a great engineer with working in a basement somewhere, that will be hard to do. If you associate the idea of becoming an engineer with going to graduate school in Boston, that will be easy for you.

Third, repeat the process until your self-limiting beliefs are eliminated or at least reduced to the point where you can begin to believe that you are smart enough to achieve your goals. This is important because it gives you a reminder to keep on believing the fact that you are not smart enough to do what must be done. When your subconscious mind believes that you are not smart enough to achieve something that is important to you, your chances of actually achieving that goal increase.

Fourth, give yourself another chance and repeat step one again but this time say that you are smart enough to achieve this goal. Say this a few times and again tell your subconscious to erase your negative self limiting beliefs. Continue to reprogram your subconscious every day until they are completely erased. By doing this, your subconscious mind will eventually become smarter and know that it is not good enough to just be good enough.

Finally, you may want to use your Iq Matrix system to help you determine which of your self-limiting beliefs is the biggest obstacle standing in your way to success. You can also find many resources online to help you get rid of other beliefs that you might have that are holding you back from reaching your goals. You can find Iq Matrix tutorials, books, and courses on many reputable internet sites. Following these simple steps will help you get to where you need to go.
